The Energy & Utilities Department's geographical information system (GIS) links an Esri-based spatial database to traditional organizational information (relational data).
Our GIS helps us manage utility and other information and helps present, via tools like our Web LOGISTICS "mapplication" (link at right), information in an easy to use, intuitive fashion, improving our overall systems management and development.
The GIS has additional potential for use in the space utilization, University planning, and emergency planning.
