A Message from the Superintendent
coleman

There are three electric substations on University grounds. Maintaining these substations and their associated distribution cabling results in a much lower electric rate for the University. All three primary substations have been equipped with redundant service from Dominion Virginia Power significantly increasing service reliability to University facilities.
